While I was with Teksavvy, my monthly usage was 50-60 GB per month for the last 3 months so I thought 100GB should be more than enough for me with Bell. But I just used bell for 3 days, the usage shows 16GB. I checked on Teksavvy website, customers can check usage there just like bell's customers. The problem is we are basically held hostage to their calculations as there doesn't seem to be a way to challenge their numbers. Now it just tells me that there is no usage available for this period.Frustrating as hell not being able to know what my usage is at, don't want to get stuck with a big ass bill when it finally decides to start working the day before the billing cycle ends and suddenly I'm 100GB over cap or something. Probably switching to Shaw Hamilton soon, Bell is just digging their own grave.
In 2004, Sympatico added a wireless modem-router hardware upgrade and Microsoft's MSN Premium software to its portfolio. This article is about Bell Internet services offered in major urban centres of Ontario and Quebec. Bell Internet, originally and frequently still called Sympatico, is the residential Internet service provider (ISP) division of BCE Inc..For High Speed Internet in Atlantic Canada, see Bell Aliant High Speed Internet. As of May 3, 2012, Bell Internet has over 3 million subscribers in Ontario and Quebec, making it the largest ISP in Canada.I switched to Teksavvy and went crazy the first month (I could finally watch You Tube, tv shows etc) and my usage wasn't that much higher. I've been trying to check my internet usage in January so far, and I haven't gotten a single piece of information from my usage meter since december 22nd.
